Ecco Living is hiring a Property Operations Specialist to support our residential properties throughout Los Angeles.
This is an active, field based position for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems, staying organized, and getting things done. You will spend your day traveling between properties, inspecting apartments, preparing spaces for incoming residents, completing move in and move out checks, setting up access and technology, and helping ensure our apartments are ready and operating smoothly.
We are looking for someone dependable, resourceful, detail oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of their responsibilities.
What You Will Do:
- Visit properties throughout Los Angeles to complete daily assignments.
- Inspect apartments, bedrooms, and common areas and identify anything requiring attention.
- Prepare apartments for incoming residents and verify that spaces are clean, functional, properly equipped, and ready for move in.
- Complete move in and move out inspections and document property conditions.
- Check furniture, supplies, keys, locks, access systems, WiFi, TVs, appliances, and other apartment features.
- Set up and troubleshoot smart locks, access devices, routers, WiFi equipment, TVs, and other basic technology.
- Resolve minor property readiness issues using practical problem solving skills and basic tools when appropriate.
- Deliver keys, supplies, equipment, and other materials between properties as needed.
- Take photos and maintain accurate documentation of property conditions and completed assignments.
- Communicate clearly with the office regarding apartment status, issues found, completed assignments, and items requiring additional attention.
What We Are Looking For:
- Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Comfortable using basic tools and troubleshooting basic technology.
- Strong communication skills by phone, text, email, and mobile apps.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities throughout the day.
- Professional and respectful when interacting with residents, coworkers, and vendors.
- Reliable vehicle and willingness to drive between properties throughout Los Angeles.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in property operations, hospitality, residential services, field operations, apartment communities, inspections, unit turnovers, or a similar hands on role is preferred.
Schedule and Compensation:
- Full time, Monday through Friday.
- 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- $24.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Mileage reimbursement for work related driving.
- Monthly allowance toward health, dental, and vision insurance.
- Paid time off.
