Ecco Living is hiring a Property Operations Technician to help keep our apartments move-in ready, well maintained, and operating smoothly across our Los Angeles properties.
This is a great role for someone who does not want to sit behind a desk all day. You will be out in the field visiting properties, inspecting units, preparing apartments for move-ins, handling light maintenance, setting up basic technology, and making sure our spaces are ready for residents.
We are looking for someone reliable, practical, and resourceful. The right person takes ownership, works well independently, communicates clearly, and is comfortable solving problems throughout the day.
What You Will Do:
- Visit properties throughout the day to inspect apartments, bedrooms, and common areas.
- Help prepare units for new residents by checking cleanliness, supplies, keys, access, locks, furniture, Wi-Fi, TVs, and other setup items.
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, installing or troubleshooting smart locks, checking access issues, and handling basic repairs.
- Review move-ins and move-outs to make sure units meet company standards.
- Deliver supplies, keys, equipment, and materials between properties as needed.
- Assist with basic technology setup, including routers, Wi-Fi, TVs, and access systems.
- Communicate clearly with the office team regarding unit status, issues found, work completed, and anything that needs follow-up.
- Support the operations and maintenance teams wherever needed to keep properties running efficiently.
What We Are Looking For:
- Reliable vehicle and willingness to drive between properties during the workday.
- Comfort with light maintenance and basic tools.
- Comfort learning and troubleshooting basic technology.
- Strong communication skills by phone, email, text, and apps.
- Ability to work independently and manage your day responsibly.
- Good judgment, attention to detail, and a strong sense of accountability.
- Someone who moves with urgency and takes pride in getting the job done correctly.
Why This Role Is a Good Opportunity:
This is an active, hands-on role where every day is different. You will not be stuck at a desk doing the same thing all day. You will have independence in your schedule, steady work, and the opportunity to be part of a growing property operations team.
Your work directly impacts the resident experience and helps ensure our units are clean, functional, and ready for move-in.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $24.00 to $25.00 per hour.
- Full-time position - Monday through Friday schedule 9am-6pm.
- Mileage reimbursement.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance monthly allowance.
- Paid time off.
If you are dependable, hands-on, comfortable being on the road, and enjoy solving problems throughout the day, we would like to meet you. Apply today to join the Ecco Living operations team.
